Middlesex-London Paramedics are employed by Thames Emergency Medical Services Incorporated who are contracted by the County of Middlesex to deliver pre-hospital emergency care.

In the City of London, Thames E.M.S. operates six strategically located stations as well as stations in Parkhill, Lucan, Strathroy, Glencoe and Komoka.

• Thames  E.M.S. employs over 200 full and part-time paramedics qualified with either primary care or advanced care certification.

• We cover a 3,750 km² area of response.

• We serve a population base of approximately 400,000 citizens.

• We utilize up to 19 ambulances in Middlesex County during peak hours plus 1 emergency response vehicle 24x7.

• We responded to over 39000 calls for assistance in 2005.

• We have had a steady increase in our call volume over the last 4 years.
