The Thames E.M.S. flu shot clinic
started in 2000 when the Ministry of Health mandated that
all Paramedics have up-to-date immunization against the flu. The
shots were given to staff at Thames E.M.S. and their families by
Paramedics.
Currently, not only are Thames E.M.S.
staff and family being given the shot, but also members of the
London Police Service, Central Ambulance Communications Centre, and
Novack's.
In future years, Thames E.M.S. hopes
to hold clinics at all of our Ambulance Stations in the City of
London and the County of Middlesex for all interested residents of
the communities that we serve.
